Introduction
Planning application for Land South of London Road, Beaconsfield
Redrow Homes and the Hall Barn Estate have submitted an outline planning application for up to 170 new homes, green spaces, and improved connectivity on Land South of London Road, Beaconsfield.
The site is located within the Green Belt but has been identified in earlier Green Belt reviews as having potential for carefully planned development. The proposals are designed to respect and reflect Beaconsfield’s character, landscape and heritage, while helping to meet local housing needs and honouring the Estate’s long-term commitment and connection to the local area.
Further to advice from Buckinghamshire Council and upon receipt of the Council’s Screening Opinion after the application had been submitted, an Environmental Statement has now been prepared and submitted. This is available to view in Beaconsfield Library and will be subject to consultation through the planning process in due course.
